For Electors
- VOTEX™ Electronic Voting System simplifies and accelerates the voting process.
- For a person that is on an electoral list, the actual time required to vote is less than 30 seconds.
- Other advantages for the electors are as follows:
- The elector will no longer use a pencil to mark his choices on a paper ballot;
- The elector will vote by selecting the button that corresponds to their candidate's photo, name, or party. They will be able to modify their vote at anytime. Once they have settled on their final selections, they simply press the "CAST MY VOTE" button and then the voting process is completed;
- A visually impaired person will no longer need to use a template. It is easier to push the button then draw a mark on a paper ballot;
- An elector who does not wish to vote for a particular candidate can chose to spoil their vote by pressing the "Cancel my vote" button. Therefore it is impossible for an elector to cancel their vote inadvertently.
- There is no risk that an elector's ballot will be refused by a Returning Officer or Deputy Returning Officer stating that the ballot has been altered or that the mark that was made was illegal or not precise.
