During the 2005 Quebec municipal elections, we served 16 different municipalities totaling 115 000 electors with 100% customer satisfaction. Our system was an instant success with all involved.

The elderly found our system made it much easier to read the names with the larger fonts and having the pictures helped some voters that had forgotten the name but recognized the picture of the person they wanted to vote for.

The other voters found it was very easy to use and was much faster than any other system they had used. The pictures were great because they were sure they were voting for the person they wanted to vote for. The written name and the visual confirmation of the person they wanted to vote for.

The candidates were glad to have the results so quickly and using our system eliminates any subjective argument about whether or not a specific vote should be rejected or accepted. All votes entered into the VOTEX system are perfect.

The City staff found the system saved money, time, and effort throughout all stages of the election process. It also allowed them to reduce the amount of people they needed to find and train. Our system allowed them to address other issues such as the use of rotating ballots and the conservation of paper for the benefit of the environment.
