Accomplishments

Sunday November 6th 2005 was Election Day at the municipal level in the Province of Quebec. VOTEX Electronic Voting System and VOTEX Software were successfully used by twenty (20) municipalities located all over the province.

According to the Returning Officers of all municipalities, the Votex Electronic Voting System was able to fulfill and even exceed their expectations. All terminals worked well and the personnel involved as well as citizens were delighted by this new technology especially with official results being available within 15 minutes after closing of the voting polls. Printing of the results takes ten seconds.

The personnel involved mentioned that Votex lived to its promise of delivering an easy, efficient and reliable election process. The safety and reliability of the Votex system has ensured the integrity of the electoral process.

Our company, a few days after the election, sent a survey team to all municipalities that used our voting system. This feedback was useful and the relationship (partnership) developed with customers was greatly appreciated.

The Quebec Chief Electoral Officer (DGE) requested an advanced report from all municipalities who used an electronic voting system. All reports concerning the Votex system were very positive and these municipalities have mentioned that Votex will remain their choice for any future elections.
